蓋世英雄 ROUND 1

我說蓋世，你說英雄！蓋世！！！英雄！！！

WOOHOOOO~~~~~ What a FANTASTIC, MARVELLOUS evening!!!!!!!
I am now suffering from a serious PLS!! Post-Leehom-Syndrome!!! I never expect this to happen before the concert~ Never did I think that this will be an exciting concert... It's true that I used to be quite a fan of Leehom... But Mayday has surpassed it for a good two years... So I really wasn't so excited about this concert like Qiuping...

BUT!!!!! After yesterday's concert..... aiyoh~~ I tell you... I am really beginning to admire Leehom all over again sia!!! He is just SO DAMN TALENTED and charming!!!!
I am going to write down the details here before they fade away...

1) 蓋世英雄/放開你的心/愛你就等於愛自己

Opening medley~ I was still struggling whether to stand or not…Cos nobody was standing loh! But after sitting down for 2min, I just stood up lah~

It was supposed to be quite high.. but the crowd seems to be rather cold lah… But I can remember the audience singing “放開你的心”

I must say… Leehom can’t dance very well.. but OK lah!!! He is already so talented and so handsome, it will be very unfair if he can dance well right?!!? He played abit of electric guitar here as well!

2) 公轉自轉

Qiuping recognized this song before I could (goes to show how not very ardent I am :p)

It’s quite different from the original one~ Of course I prefer this one… I din like this song in the past… I still dun love it now.. But the change of arrangement makes it sounds a little better to my listening~

3) 愛的就是你

Leehom started to slow down the pace a little here… When he sang “在愛的幸福國度，你就是我唯一…” I still happily tell Qiuping its 唯一 -_-||| What kind of fan am I man!!??

Follow which he sang “我唯一愛的就是….” Den the audience sang 你~~~~ Den the whole song start…

4) Talking

This is the first time he spoke in the concert… He first asked “How are you guys doing?”

Den everybody shouted GOOD~

He mentioned things like he is very happy that many of his friends were there, his volin teacher etc… And of course Kit Chan~ He said “在她面前唱歌有點緊張~ 因爲我剛出道的時候，那個時候沒有那麽多的八卦雜誌，我對她的這個 HUGE crash.” Den the audience when OH~~~ Den he said “Who didn’t right?” Den he went on to sing “我喜歡這樣跟著你，隨便你帶我到哪裏~” Den thank her for coming.. Den mentioned a group of musicians and named the countries from which the audience came from. Of course he mentioned something about Singaporeans and we all went crazy… haha… Finally he went into the next song, which he dedicated it to Kit~ hahaha…

5) Kiss Goodbye

Hai~~ I was a little disappointed lah… Cos he didn’t play the piano himself.. I thought I can see the same thing as in MV… This was the time where everybody suddenly sits down.. SO SIAN!!!!! But of course for ballades like these, there will be times where the audience will be needed to sing the chorus lah… THE most exciting part came after he finish the song!!!! He sent a MUACK to the audience lah!!! With both hands somemore!! SO CUTE!!!!!!!! Hahaha….

6) 永遠的第一天

HA~~~ This song… Both me and Qiuping thought it was 流淚手心 until the chorus where he sang “永遠的第一天” Den we went OH~~~ 永遠的第一天… pengz…

After this song was a DJ saying some rap.. He also did the 我說蓋世，你說英雄 thingy lah… Den Leehom came back to stage again…

7) Ya Birthday/女朋友/我就喜歡

A very hip-hop performance loh~~ We stood up again~

I was really amused by the pa-da-pa-pa-pa part… haha… thought of Macdonald’s straight away… :p Oh~~ The hot part was his dance with the gal from T-rush!! Woohoo!! The gal ripped off his t-shirt leh!!! Leaving only his vest!!! Hahaha…. --drooling--

8) 情敵貝多芬

Wah!!! Very high lah!!! This song! I never thought he would sing this song!! This song was like SO LONG ago.. his 1^st album leh!!! He sounds so good now!!!! And the arrangement at the concert was much much more up to date!!

Before the next song… He went to change again lah… This time, the video wall showed a video clip by Leehom’s Sg fanclub… Background music was 大城小愛~ It was really sweet when the crowd sang along with it!! Den me and Qiuping were like going through the video and remembering when we first went for his 簽唱會 and discussing whether he looks better with his hair long or short~ and how come we din realize he was actually quite good looking since the very beginning!! Before we notice it… he was all ready on stage… We were really only concentrating on the video loh~~

9) 不要害怕

This is the beginning of the unplugged portion. (where everybody sat down again). Before he start off… He said “ I love it when you guys sing” and introduced the VCR by Ourhome SG~ and said that he was very touched… Den he went on to say “我發現新加坡人都很會唱歌，陳潔儀阿，孫燕姿阿，俊傑阿，蔡健雅阿~ 很musical的一個國家，我不知道爲甚麽.” (at this point… I was like 哪裏會？) Den he turned to his guitarists around him and said something like “the proportion to the population, 吳慶隆，our band leader, our music director is Singaporean.” “我要做一個驗證，在這裏查一下新加坡人是不是真的比較會唱歌”

Den he wanted us to sing 不要害怕, want us to 挑戰和聲~ Initially he tried to divide the audience, so that some sing the main melody, some sing the harmony… haha… But it turn out to be really too difficult lah… So he decided that everybody shall just stick to the main melody!! Damn funny!!!

Den he dunno wat to say after that.. he said “其實上台之前應該要準備一下台詞比較好~

Ok!! After all the talking.. the song finally starts!!!

HEY MAN!!! His singing really very good ok!!!!??? His 假音 was so perfect!

10) 大城小愛

Before we were ready... he sang "烏黑的髮尾~" in a very R&B mode... VERY NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Den the guitar came in and he sang the whole song proper~ This is one of my fav Leehom’s songs… Totally melted seeing him sing and play guitar at the same time lah!!! It’s really sweet when he stopped to let the audience sing “I’m thinking of you~” Though it’s sort of like forcing us to sing it… HAHA… But no lah~~ I sang it 心甘情願-ly :p

Oh~~ Did I mention that during this part.. he was actually wearing a blue shirt with a strap over his shoulder and chest~ It looks totally like wat Ashin wore during FH.. I forgot whether he wore it in SG FH or not.. but I am sure he wore it during KL FH.. HK FH, I oso cannot remember… But the 2 shirts are REALLY SIMILAR!!! Just that Leehom’s a little more 華麗 cos of some shimmer… ok.. back to the concert…

11) W-H-Y

WOOHOO~~!~!~! My another favourite!!! But I din expect him to sing this unplugged!!! Its also during this song where we stood up again!!! Hahaa… Very high loh~!~! You wun expect unplugged to be THIS HIGH!!! Haha…

12) 一首簡單的歌

Before this song… Qiuping told me that the grand piano was there… I thought I wun see it at all!!! Very excited lah!!! Before he sang the song.. he played something and did some talking as well.. he said with his eyes closed “ 這場演唱會對我來講挑戰性非常大，考驗很大。因爲我這段時間都沒有在唱歌，都在演戯。而且都在演一個非常不hip-hop 的一個人, (wahahaha~~) 非常不流行的一個人，大概六十年前的人，所以轉不過來，有一點XX (can’t figure out wat he said)。所以今天晚上我希望你們能夠多唱一點，帶動我的情緒~ Den the song starts proper~~ One big difficulty at Leehom’s concert, I realized is to sing along with him…. He is forever like R&B-ing… how we know which note he wants to sing??? But the 大合唱 at the chorus was really great!!! Nothing else…. Just our voice, his voice and the piano!!! VERY NICE!!!!! He can REALLLY REALLY REALLY SING!!!!!!!!!!!

13) 流淚手心

ok~~ The REAL 流淚手心 is here~ Erm… All along, I din really like this song lah… But it was really much better yesterday!!!! I just enjoy listen it with simple piano arrangement and the very free-style way of singing!!! When the drum, guitar, bass comes in.. I din like it as much le…

15) LOVE LOVE LOVE

It is similar to the performance he did at 金曲獎 two yrs back~ But this was not so 激昂, it’s more mellow but still as SEXY!!!! and in my own opinion, better lah… :p

Until this part of the concert…. He has already played electrical guitar, acoustic guitar and piano! ALREADY VERYVERYVERYVERY TALENTED lah!!!!!!!!! Especially the piano part!!! AWWWW~~~!!!!!!!! BUT….. The best has YET TO COME!!!!! I will update the last part tmr!!! I shall go listen to my recording and watch my video clips to refresh some of my memories!!

洩憤之章

Today, for the first time, I was totally able to understand how my colleagues had felt towards my that so-called boss...

All this while, I just listen to my colleagues criticizing that so-called boss, I always thought that he is still quite nice in some ways... But today!!! WA KAO!!! I realised that so-called boss is totally inhumane!!!!! The way he treats those long-serving cabin crews are terrible!!! Still scold me!!?? KAO!!! I am not that sonofabitch leh... I will not stand there and let him scold one leh!!!
Here are some things I wanna say to that inhuman!!!

Listen up!!! U think you are a Cabin Crew manager?? Wake up!! U are just an incompetent, selfish, arrogant, stupid bastard!!! Apart from

1) Pretend to work in front of the computer but in actual fact, planning which country to go, which hotel to stay during your weekends,
2) Coming in office late, leaving office early,
3) Know nothing but act as if you do know something,
4) Ordering people around to cover your ass,
5) Suck up to your superiors,
6) Making sure nobody gets in your way of a comfort life here in Singapore,
7) Cutting down cost in EVERY single way to make sure you are benefitting the company, but in actual fact it is YOU that is depleting the company's money,
8) Listening to those who suck-up to you,
9) Ignoring your subordinate's voices,
10) Setting rules for others and breaks them the very next moment,
and many many more....... ,

you have NOTHING!!!
Apart from being able to speak Japanese, you can do NONE of what the whole department is doing!

1)You dunno how to give briefing,
2) You dunno how to plan schedule,
3) You dunno what are the functions of the new system,
4) You dunno anything about the old system,
5) You dunno how to solve drop flights,
6) You dunno how to communicate with the crews,
7) You dunno how allowances and perdiems are calculated,
8) You dunno the individual job scopes of your subordinates,
9) You dunno what your subordinates do during 40s, 50s hours of OT,
10) Best of all, you dun even know how to answer/entertain a call that is not on your direct line!

You can go ahead and be Buay Song about me! I may be new, I may love this job at the airport, but I am not going to let you throw your arrows anyhow. I promise I will make you think twice before finding faults on me and blaming me on anything!!! and you better not let me embarrass you during our section meeting tmr! The rest of them may be able to be nice to you on the surface, I will as well, in a different manner though. Of course I know that you hold a key to my future in this company. But its only ONE of the keyS.

Today, I was able to held back my tears. I will continue to do so with pride and dignity. I will not be like that cheap Siberia Husky of yours, who will produce a single sound even with your meanest insult.

Oh!! And that chicken-hearted, hoping-to-be-a-manager-one-day assistant manager, can forget about it! Cos according to that inhuman, you need a flying liscense to be manager of Cabin Crew! HAHAHAHA~~~ so continue to nag all you want, be the Mr Nice Guy all you like, continue finding faults of ur subordinate, continue to be obstinated and argue your way through, continue to act busy, I will not be bothered by you. Even if you are able to become the manager one day, you are just who you are because you are a pioneer to the company. Remember this yah?

My mood had been like tsunami over the past few days...
Extremely happy because Mayday's attendance is confirmed! Even more happy to know that they will come for a concert this Dec. I cannot describe my excitement man... almost screamed out when I saw the SMS...
Extremely unhappy because I made some mistakes at work...

The thought of resigning did came across my mind for a few hours.... I really think I should get a better job and be out of this place for good. With a sonofabitch around... its a matter of time that I blow up... But I really can't bear the airport environment... and many other wonderful colleagues... Working at the airport has been one of my dreams since young... I really don't wanna give it up just because of a non-human...

So I shall hang on and press on!!! 必竟只有吃得苦中苦、オ能方為人上人。
