I had a GREAT weekend last week!!! Actually a rather GREAT week~
Had lunch with my Qiuping for quite a few days in the week! Had chats with Qiuping and Celest via emails everyday! Check out LA air tics, concert tics, bus tics, bus timings, factory outlet details, calling to TW, planning itinerary etc... All these done during weekdays, 0830-1730.
Apart from these, I accidentally came across an article on Holocaust at wikipedia... totally, utterly, absolutely gross out... After reading that on Friday afternoon, later in the day, I got to know somebody committed suicide... hai... While tens of thousands of people out there are struggling to survive, there are some that can't wait to end it...
Anyway... Met up with Ah Tan and Jingzheng on Friday and Saturday... Friday was just a normal chilling-out session... Eat dinner, shopping, "coffee-break" and talking abit on the LA trip. But Saturday was eventful!!
I went KTV with my classmates from knitting class in the afternoon. Then later went to Orchard with Jingzheng. I did abit of shopping at Kino and Zara while she went library. Before we left, we realised there is some sort of food fair going on at Civics Plaza!! woohoo!!! and there we bought a packet of chicken rice for $1, 1 Yam paste for $2 and 2 other yam paste for $1, 5 otahs for $5 and fried buns for $2(comes with the crab gravy). We went Cathay to buy tics for Transformers as well, a 0230 showtime. After this, we made our way to a petrol kiosk located near Newton circus.
We were supposed to have a surprise visit at the kiosk, Ah Tan manage. But she not surprised at all leh! But nevermind... She must be too busy... Because of the GST increase, she has to go work that night to monitor the price change... also to change the labels on display. Since we are already there, we decided to help her in getting out the old labels and put up the new ones. If not, other workers will not be happy to see people loitering in the shop while they work... It's really quite an experience. Most of us would probably take such things for granted. But it's not that easy to take out the price labels and putting it back. It was fun doing the baking though... :p
When Ah tan can finally leave, we rush our way down to Cathay. Honestly, I really din want to watch Transformers AT ALL!!!! I hated the cartoon since young. But because they wanted to watch, and Jingzheng was watching for the 2nd time... I decided to 捨命陪君子. I was still worried that I might fall asleep halfway through the movie since its already 2,3 am... However!!! It turn out that I laughed louder than anybody sitting around me... It was really DAMN FUNNY!!!! lots of actions as well (although I din really watch those violent actions). After watching the movie, it's no wonder that Shia LeBeouf is the new upcoming star... I enjoyed the movie SO MUCH that I will be watching it again on Wed with Qp! haha... It's been a long long long time since I have to urge of watching a movie twice. The last movie I watched more than once was Troy (not because I enjoyed it alot, just that for one of the time it was free...)And the last last movie, which I watch 4 times at cinema, was Titanic. So, can you tell how much I enjoyed Transformers? :p
Yeah!!! Last week at my present company!!! Don't need to face all these weird colleagues of mine anymore~ I hope my new colleagues will be better... please please please....
