Back from Hong Kong and Taiwan.
It's hasn't been a fruitful trip in terms of shopping.
But it has definitely been a trip filled with friendship!
I was transiting in Hong Kong, intending to stay one night at the airport after I am done with my shopping~ But happened to meet one of my stewardess there~ She introduced another friend~ and the two of them just kept me company till 6am the next day!!! I cannot believe this!! I really must thank them for the company!! It's definitely much much better than me spending the night alone at Macdonalds in the airport. Of Course!! Not to forget dear Jeremy for his companion over msn from 2am-430am!
In Taiwan~ My initial plan wasn't to do a great deal of shopping~ But neither did I expect it to be so little.....
I realised I wasn't able to shop because I need to queue for the concerts~ Since human are primitively selfish, I got to sacrifice my shopping trips in Taipei to company a friend of mine in the queue that lasted for 2 nights. 2 persons to queue for 36 people. You ask me where are the rest? They just can't make it. I must say~ I wasn't a least bit unhappy for having to queue... I just felt really sorry for that friend of mine. I cannot imagine if I weren't there in Taichung, is she going to queue all by herself??? Queuing overnight in winter, esp when there is a cold wave... is no joke!!! Have you ever been woken up in the middle of the night because you are shivering like mad? Well~ I did... For a moment, I really regretted it! Regretted going to Taiwan, regretted trying to play hero... But it din last too long...
There had been many unpleasant experience in Taiwan... While queueing as well as during the concert itself... But there are even more enjoyable moments!!! I have got to know lots and lots of great people! I give thanks to those who added enjoyment to my trip! I promise to make your trip to Singapore as enjoyable! (if they do come!)
Lastly, I just wanna say... I dunno how long those friendships will last (usually not very long :p) But I will try my best to preserve it!!
I shan't tok too much about the 3 concerts I attended in 2 days. People will find me (even I will find myself) shallow, irritating, childish, showing-off etc... Hence, everything shall be locked in my memory!! The bottom line is: I LOVE Mayday for each of their compositions and arrangements and of course their camaraderie!!! But I love one of the member of Mayday for his talents in writing, drawing, talking, singing and willingness to try out various instruments. (these may not be deemed as talent to others, but it is to me~)
